Born-agains: has the LDS stand on marriage given you newfound respect for them?

I remember not long ago when Mitt Romney was running how we heard some pretty harsh things from Evangelicals about our beliefs, about us not being Christian, etc. Don't we think it's time to come together on the things we have in common? The enemy will be back to attack on other fronts. I was touched at the statements from Catholics, Evangelicals, and others that came to our defense when we were being targeted with a very intolerant ad due to our involvement in Prop. 8. To my born-again brothers and sisters, I extend my hand in friendship and the hopes we can work together to defend God's purposes for all of us. As it is written in Mark 9:40, "For he that is not against us is on our part."
