The book does not come out-right and say that he's involved in criminal activity. It is hinted however because Gatsby refuses to say how he made his money, and when you meet Meyer Wolfshiem it is said that he is the one who fixed the World Series. So from Gatsby's contacts we can infer that he is a bootlegger (someone who bring alcohol down from Canada). Alcohol was illegal because of the Prohibition.

For Brunettes only that have dyed their hair Blonde before?

I've always been a brunette, never dyed my hair, just highlights a few times. I've always wanted to try going blonde just out of pure curiousity, never because I think blondes are prettier or get more attention, just because I'd always wondered what I'd look like blonde. So what I want to know is, brunettes, when you dyed your hair blonde, did you like how it looked or not. I've always been tempted to try it but never had the nerve.

Questions about Wicca?

A friend of mine recently told me that her mother's friend is a witch, and told me all the stuff she told her about the religion. I became interested, and started doing some research, but i'm still confused on some things. I'm interested in becoming Wiccan, because I dont have a religion and it saddens me that I have nothing to believe in. But the concepts of Wicca amazes me and makes so much sense. I'm not sure exactly what it means to be a witch, which is why I want to learn as much as I can to see if it's really something I can live by. What is the "Divine"? And an altar? And most of all, what exactly does it mean to be Wiccan? What is the story behind it all?

Teens: How many pets.....?

Wow, that's a lot of pets. I only have a bird (canary) named Goldie. His name is Goldie because when I was little I had a book about a bird named Goldie that flew out of his cage and got lost, and when we got the bird, he got out of the little box they put him in at the pet store and we had to chase him around with a net for a while before we could catch him. So we named him Goldie, after my book, and also because he's yellow.

I'm staying in Boston in the summer and want to visit marthas vineyard and cape cod.?

Is it better to stay at those places? Where is exciting for a 12 year old and 8 year old who are easily pleased?
