If a Virus injected RNA into host cell is it possible for the host cell to recognize the RNA then destroy it?

Or is it the case that when the RNA or DNA is injected the host cell is just plain doomed to the lytic or lysogenic cycle?

Why does the Jesus Seminar not invite scholars and historians of divergent views?

For example, as long as I've been a member of the professional societies, a very large percentage of the Society of Biblical Literature and American Academy of Religion have been evangelicals. Yet not one of them has ever been invited to join the Jesus Seminar, despite holding prominent university and graduate school positions and considerable acclaim. Is the Jesus Seminar just a club whose members are chosen by their agreeing with (and being old friends of) the leadership? Is it any surprise that the general public is never informed of how anyone becomes a member of the Jesus Seminar?

Should there be laws restraining the behavior of people who eat boiled okra?

Crocheted Blanket Question?

I've been crocheting for over 40 years and the only thing I make are afghans. (Let's just say that every family member has two or three of my blankets!) Every row-by-row type of afghan that I finish before making an edging looks slightly 'wavy.' Even the granny square kinds look like they need tightening up. It's just the way crocheting looks until you put on the edging. I always start by doing a single crochet stitch all around the perimeter; sometimes once around, sometimes two or three times around, depending on my design. It evens out the 'wavy' look, and it makes it easier to add a lacy or shell edging to finish off the afghan. As long as you're sure you're not adding or subtracting stitches on any rows, I'm sure once you add your edge, it'll look alot better. You're tension will improve once you get a couple of more projects under your belt. All it takes is a little more practice.

How do you say "Farewell" in Arabic?

I tried using Google Translate, but I need to see how you would say it in English...like not in the written Arabic language, just its pronunciation. Thanks.

A question for LGBT only please?

Depends on where you're from. Do an internet search for the local Pride group there's bound to be one near you. More than likely they'll have a web page where they post meetings and events and things like that...and anything they have will be one hundred percent gay friendly! They might even have group meetings that you can go to to discuss these things with people who feel the same way!
