The other day i got some wood in my eye it hurts wen contacts are in my left eye but wen out eyes are fine hlp?

the other day i was choping wood and i got a piece of wood caut me in my eye,,it hurts wen i put my contact in my left eye but my right eye is fine.wen i take my contact out my eye is fine. their is no scratches and their is nothing in my eye what should i do??? pleas help!!
