My fianc� is having a breakdown; what should I do for him?

He's being overwhelmed by school and our monetary shortage. I had gone to the beach with my family for a reunion, but he had to stay for school, and he hasn't seen me in a week. I had originally planned to surprise him by coming come early, but I want to make bigger. I'm baking him some cookies. The apartment is locked and he has the only key, so it has to be something he can open the door to see. Any ideas? (:
