Which agp graphics card is better for nextgen gaming?

i am looking to upgrade my graphics card i am currently running a packard bell 2.8ghz cpu desktop, 512mb ram and a fx5600xt nvidia card and have had some advise to upgrade to either a 7950gt 512mb geforce or a ATI Radeon X1950XT i was just wondering in other peoples opion which would be better, thanks
